The valley of valleys: Hemmers in the Seidlwinkltal, bearded vultures in the Krumltal, gold and weather researchers in the Huettwinkltal, myths and legends of the Gaisbachtal as well as the beautiful natural surroundings of the Forsterbach all help to make the Rauris valley one of the prettiest and largest hiking areas in the Hohe Tauern National Park.

The unique flora and fauna of this area make the Rauris Valley a true paradise for hikers of all ages.

Over 295 km of marked hiking trails give you the opportunity to get to know the beautiful Rauris Valley. The romantic Seidlwinkeltal with its 500-year old "Rauriser Tauernhaus' is definitely a must-see.

The Gaisbach, Forsterbach and Huettwinkl valleys lure with their uniquely beautiful valley-end 'Kolm-Saigurn'. Of course, there are many other gorgeous and exciting hiking trails waiting to be discovered.

For a well-deserved break, head to one of the many mountain huts along the trails. Your hikes are guaranteed to be not only exciting but also culinary discoveries!
