Snowshoeing in Rauris

Walk slowly through the snow, breathe in the cold winter air and take in the magic of the unique surrounding winter wonderland of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

With snowshoeing, slowly moving forward through one's own strength is the name of the game. A great way to discover and experience the breathtaking Hohe Tauern National Park.

The former 'Goldgraeber valley' proves to be the perfect destination for enjoying this gentle winter sport.

Twice weekly, a national park ranger accompanies guests through the Kolm-Saigurn to the foot of the Sonnblick. This trail takes about 3 hours to complete and takes you over 370 vertical meters of panorama and majestic peaks.

Individualists can make their own tours by following the signposts on the trails. Make a snack and relaxation stop at the Ammererhof or Naturfreundehaus. It is also possible to take the free valley bus back.
